I create art from nature with the intention of highlighting and celebrating the beauty of our earth, so easily overlooked and taken for granted. Creating beauty in a broken world, particularly with so much external chaos going on, seems to have a soothing and centring effect upon my soul. It’s like an innate recognition of the inherent order underlying all of creation, plus I find a comforting sense of predictability in creating symmetry in a mandala. For me it truly is the best medicine.
